ΩLuis Navarro and the Accademia Internazionale Greci–Marino (1996)
In 1996, Luis Navarro was officially appointed Associate Academician in the Arts Section by the Accademia Internazionale Greci–Marino, Accademia del Verbano di Lettere, Arti, Scienze in Vinzaglio, Italy. The nomination, signed and sealed by the President General on April 27, recognized Navarro’s artistic achievements after a review of his career. This distinction placed him within an academic and cultural network of international intellectuals, scientists, and artists.
For Navarro, it was not only a personal honor but also an acknowledgment of his Navarresque Surrealism as a contribution to cultural heritage and intellectual discourse. The appointment reinforced his status as a creator whose art bridged academic, cultural, and artistic traditions across Europe.
